PathWhat it holds
/api/v1/This list, as data.
/api/v1/editionsToday's editions — Today, AI, Cyber, Ops, Dev — with how many pieces each carries.
/api/v1/editions/{id}One edition's pieces: headline, link, source, section, date, summary, the stories it belongs to and the other sources that reported it.
/api/v1/storiesEvery ongoing story (a launch followed across sources): status, dates, pieces.
/api/v1/stories/{id}One story's timeline, oldest first, each piece labeled: announcement, API, availability, release, incident…
/api/v1/modelsEvery AI model the paper follows: maker, platforms, API changes, next shutdown.
/api/v1/models/{id}One model's sheet: its lab's posts, API changelog entries, platforms, incidents and deadlines.
/api/v1/deadlinesWhat stops working in the next year: models being shut down, language versions reaching end of support, with each source's recommended replacement.

/api/v1/risingThe repositories gaining the most stars on GitHub this week, from GitHub's Trending page: stars this week, weeks on the list, and the languages rising.
/api/v1/companiesThe companies the paper follows: how many of their own pieces and others' it has, and how many need acting on (deprecations, price changes, incidents) in the last 30 days.
/api/v1/companies/{id}One company: its own sources, what needs acting on, its model and product shutdown dates, and its latest pieces and others' about it.

/api/v1/sourcesEvery source the paper reads.
What's breaking now/api/breaking, checked every hour.

Live rather than daily: /api/breaking holds what's breaking now, if anything (what counts). Each entry has a kind (launch, exploited, outage), the source's headline and link, why it counts and until when.

Ids and addressesThe site's own ids; .json optional.

An edition's (today, ai, cyber, ops, dev), a story's or model's (gpt-6, opus-5.5), a week's (2026-39). Every path works with or without .json. Lists link to their items with url, and to the page with page.

A piece's shapeThe source's headline, summary and link.
{
  "title": "Introducing GPT-6 Sol and Luna",
  "url": "https://openai.com/…",
  "source": { "id": "openai", "name": "OpenAI" },
  "section": "news",
  "publishedAt": "2026-09-22T15:00:00Z",
  "summary": "Meet GPT-6 Sol and Luna, …"
}

Every response carries apiVersion and builtAt. Times are ISO 8601, in UTC; publishedAt is null when the source didn't date the piece.

Promisesv1 is stable; nothing about you.

v1 is stable. Fields may be added; none will be renamed or removed. A change that breaks that is a new version, beside this one.

It is the paper. The same build writes the API and the pages: nothing ranked by clicks, nothing rewritten.

Nothing about you. No key means nothing to track; requests aren't logged beyond what Cloudflare keeps to run the site.

TermsLink each piece to its source.

Headlines and summaries are the sources' own words. If you republish them, link each one to its source (url), as the paper does, and don't present them as The Tech Gazette's writing. Responses are cached for five minutes; the edition changes once a day.
